He was senior adviser to the World Bank's Agriculture and Rural Development Department. Apart from this, he was also the Vice President of Rajasthan Planning Board. He was awarded Padma Bhushan by the Indian government.

The Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) has denied the possibility of direct foreign investment (FDI) in the inventory based e-commerce model. According to e-commerce draft policy, any online retailer company or marketplace can not directly or indirectly affect the sale or price of an item. Due to this, online retailers will not be able to make big discounts. This draft has recommended 49% FDI in inventory based business to customer e-commerce, currently there is no arrangement of FDI in this type of business, FDI is available only in the marketplace model.

Between India and America, the "War Practice 2018" fighter warfare exercise will be conducted between Chopatia of Uttarakhand between September 16 and 29. This exercise will be organized between India and the US after 2 + 2 talks.
This will be the 14th edition of "War Studies", it started in 2004. It will be organized in Chaubatiya in Uttarakhand. The purpose of this exercise is to increase efficiency in the anti-terrorist operation between the two countries' armies. About this, the scope of the war practice is quite wide. This time battalion level training and division level command post practice will be conducted in "war drills". In this exercise, about 400 soldiers from both countries will participate, in the first 200 soldiers participate in it.

यह “युद्ध अभ्यास” का 14वां संस्करण होगा, इसकी शुरुआत वर्ष 2004 में हुई थी। इसका आयोजन उत्तराखंड में चौबतिया में किया जायेगा। इस अभ्यास का उद्देशय दोनों देशों की सेनाओं के बीच आतंक विरोधी ऑपरेशन में दक्षता को वृद्धि करना है। इस बारे में युद्ध अभ्यास के दायरा काफी विस्तृत है। इस बार “युद्ध अभ्यास” में बटालियन स्तरीय प्रशिक्षण तथा डिवीज़न स्तरीय कमांड पोस्ट अभ्यास किया जायेगा। इस अभ्यास में दोनों देशों की ओर से लगभग 400 सैनिक हिस्सा लेंगे, पहले इसमें 200 सैनिक ही हिस्सा लेते हैं।

Low-enriched uranium is used in this indigenous manufactured plant. Apesara was the first research center in Asia, it was started on August 4, 1956 at the BARC Trombay campus. The concept of design of this plant was done by Dr. Homi Bhabha in 1955. The name of this plant was 'Apsara' by then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.

The Delhi Government has launched facility of up to 40 services like caste certificate, marriage certificate, driving license and new water connections etc. to the delivery of government services. Delhi has become the first State / Union Territory to launch this type of service in the country.
For the implementation of this scheme, the Delhi Government has set up an intermediary agency and established a call center. To get mobile assistant service, people have to call centralized number. These mobile assistants will have essential items such as biometric devices and cameras, etc. They will help people fill application, fees and documents for any service.
For certificates which are mandatory to go to government office (such as for a driving license), people in that situation will have to go to the office. But applications for this can be filled at home only with the help of Mobile Assistant. Under this scheme, income certificate, driving license, ration card, duplicate RC etc. can be obtained through home delivery.

दिल्ली सरकार ने 40 आवश्यक सेवाओं जैसे जाति प्रमाण पत्र, विवाह प्रमाणपत्र, ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस और नए जल कनेक्शन इत्यादि सरकारी सेवाओं की डिलीवरी घर तक करने की सुविधा लांच की है। दिल्ली देश में इस प्रकार की सेवा लांच करने वाला पहला राज्य/केंद्र शासित प्रदेश बन गया है।
इस योजना के क्रियान्वयन के लिए दिल्ली सरकार ने एक मध्यस्थ एजेंसी की स्थापना तथा कॉल सेंटर की स्थापना भी की है। मोबाइल सहायक की सेवा प्राप्त करने के लिए लोगों को सेंट्रलाइज्ड नंबर पर फ़ोन करना होगा। इन मोबाइल सहायकों के पास आवश्यक वस्तुएं जैसे बायोमेट्रिक डिवाइस तथा कैमरा इत्यादि होंगे, वे किसी सेवा के लिए एप्लीकेशन भरने, फीस तथा दस्तावेज जमा करने में लोगों की सहायता करेंगे।
जिन प्रमाणपत्रों के लिए सरकारी दफ्तर जाना अनिवार्य होता है (जैसे ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस के लिए), उस परिस्थिति में लोगों को दफ्तर तक जाना पड़ेगा। परन्तु इसके लिए आवेदन पत्र इत्यादि मोबाइल सहायक की सहायता से घर पर ही भरे जा सकते हैं। इस योजना के तहत आय प्रमाण पत्र,ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस, राशन कार्ड, डुप्लीकेट RC इत्यादि होम डिलीवरी के द्वारा प्राप्त किये जा सकते हैं।

This is an annual bilateral military exercise, it started in 2006. The purpose of this military exercise is to promote the partnership between the Indian Army and Mongolian Army. This will increase the technical and strategic capacity of the armies of the two countries in the anti-terrorist operation. In this exercise 17 Punjab Regiment is participating from India, while Mongolia's unit 084 is taking part. In this exercise, the two armies will jointly plan and implement the drill. In addition, the two armies will share their experiences and skills with each other.

In this meeting, discussions on implementation of Chabahar port project and many other issues were discussed. In this meeting, the Indian delegation was led by Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale, while the Iranian delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Arafhchi. This meeting was chaired by Deputy Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, Hikmat Khalil Karzai. In this meeting, issues such as Chabahar port, strengthening economic cooperation, cooperation against terrorism, anti-narcotics and peace process in Afghanistan were discussed. The meeting will be held in India in 2019 for the next round of consultation. India, Iran and Afghanistan from Chabahar port will be very comfortable in business activities.
