Central Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Minister Radha Mohan Singh recently launched the Milk Processing and Infrastructure Development Fund Scheme in New Delhi. A sum of Rs 10,881 crore has been allocated for this scheme. This scheme will be implemented by National Dairy Development Board and National Co-operative Development Corporation. This scheme will benefit about 95 lakh farmers in 50,000 villages. Many skilled and unskilled people will get direct or indirect employment from this scheme. Through this scheme, milk processing of 126 lakh liters per day per day, 210 metric tonnes of milk drawing and 140 lakh liters per day will be prepared for milk chilling facility. Under this scheme financial assistance of Rs 8004 crore will be provided to milk cooperative.This help will be provided at the rate of 6.5% in the form of loans.

केन्द्रीय कृषि व किसान कल्याण मंत्री राधा मोहन सिंह ने हाल ही में दुग्ध प्रसंस्करण व अधोसंरचना विकास फण्ड स्कीम को नई दिल्ली में लांच किया। इस योजना के लिए 10,881 करोड़ रुपये की राशी आबंटित की गयी है। इस स्कीम को राष्ट्रीय दुग्ध विकास बोर्ड तथा राष्ट्रीय को-आपरेटिव विकास कारपोरेशन द्वारा क्रियान्वित किया जायेगा। इस स्कीम से 50,000 गाँवों में 95 लाख किसानों को लाभ होगा। इस स्कीम से कई कुशल व अकुशल लोगों को प्रत्यक्ष अथवा अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से रोज़गार प्राप्त होगा। इस स्कीम के द्वारा 126 लाख लीटर प्रति दिन दुग्ध प्रसंस्करण, 210 मीट्रिक टन मिल्क ड्राइंग तथा 140 लाख लीटर प्रतिदिन दुग्ध शीतकरण की फैसिलिटी तैयार की जाएगी। इस स्कीम के तहत दुग्ध कोआपरेटिव को 8004 करोड़ रुपये की वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी।यह सहायता ऋण के रूप में 6.5% की दर पर प्रदान किया जायेगा।
