Kerala State has been given the first place in the Public Affairs Index list. In this list, Tamilnadu is second place followed by Kerala, Telangana at third place, Karnataka at fourth place and Gujarat at fifth position. The foundation of the Public Affairs Index was laid in 1994. Its aim is to improve the quality of governance in India. This report is based on the statistics of the performance of governance on the basis of the statistics of the socio-economic development of the states. This index is prepared on the basis of the state's infrastructure, helpful conditions in human development, social security, law and order, assessment of status of women and children.

5. What is "no confidence motion"?

"No Objection Resolution" is a parliamentary motion. When a opposition party thinks that the government has lost a majority in the House, it brings a no-confidence motion. Article 75 of the Indian Constitution states that the Union Council of Ministers is accountable to the Lok Sabha, that is, the Council of Ministers can remain only after getting majority in this House. When the motion of motion is passed against it, the Prime Minister, including the Prime Minister, has to resign. The member, who has no confidence motion, has to ask for permission from the Speaker. To begin the process of non-confidence, it is necessary to have support of at least 50 members. If 50 MPs do not have support then the Chairman does not allow the proposal.

1. The Reserve Bank of India has hiked repo rate by 25 basis points to 6.50 per cent in its third bi-monthly monetary policy review. With this, Reverse repo rate has become 6.25 percent and bank rate is 6.75 percent.

भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने तीसरी द्वि-मासिक मौद्रिक नीति समीक्षा में रेपो रेट में 25 बेसिस पॉइंट की बढ़ोतरी कर के 6.50 प्रतिशत किया। इसके साथ रिवर्स रेपो रेट अब 6.25 प्रतिशत और बैंक रेट 6.75 प्रतिशत हो गया है।
