Navy has started "Operation Help" in Kerala. Navy has started "Operation Help" to save the stranded people in the floods in Kerala. Due to this flood in Kerala, 5 Gate of Idukki dam has been opened. Thiruvananthapuram has received 620% more than normal, 594% more in Kolam and 430% more in Idukki. This flood has killed 29 people. 54 thousand people of about 12,500 families have become homeless.
