 उत्तरी ग्रिड कब ख़राब हुई थी?

उत्तरी ग्रिड 30 जुलाई 2012 में ख़राब हुई थी। यह पॉवर कट ऐतिहासिक था। इससे दिल्ली, उत्तर प्रदेश, जम्मू-कश्मीर, पंजाब, हरियाणा, चंडीगढ़ और हिमाचल प्रदेश में 36 करोड़ लोग अचानक अंधेरे में पहुंच गए थे। कई ट्रेनों को बीच रास्ते में ही रोकना पड़ा था। इसके अलावा दिल्ली में मेट्रो सेवा ठप हो गई थी। बहुमंजिला इमारतों में लोग पानी के लिए परेशान हुए, क्योंकि उनके टॉवर की छत पर मौजूद टैंक में पानी नहीं पहुंच सका था। लगभग 15 घंटों के संघर्ष के बाद ग्रिड ठीक की जा सकी थी, लेकिन अगले ही दिन 31 जुलाई को दोपहर एक बजे फिर ग्रिड बैठ गई और देश के 22 राज्यों में बिजली फिर चली गई थी।
