The Headquarters of the Staff Selection Commission is located in New Delhi. There are currently seven Regional Offices in Allahabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai and Bangalore. There are also two sub-regional offices in Raipur and Chandigarh. SSC constituted as a President, two members, one director, one security-cum-COE and two dykes. Mr. Ashim Khurana is the Chairman of SSC.
SSC currently serves as an autonomous body, primarily engaged in conducting competitive examinations for the recruitment of various posts in SSC departments and organizations.
