About BBMKU
Binod Bihari Mahato Koyalanchal University, Dhanbad ”came into existence by the Government of Jharkhand. The notification dated March 23, 2017, as Gazette Notification No. 216 (Additional Ordinary) was published on April 11, 2017. The foundation stone of the university campus was laid on 13 November 2001 by the Head of Shrikhand. Raghubar Das. The university has 10 contested colleges, 19 affiliated colleges, 23 B.Ed. Colleges, 02 M.Ed. The college, 02 Law Colleges and 01 Medical Colleges with headquarters at Dhanbad is spread over Dhanbad and Bokaro districts of Jharkhand.
