Eligibility Criteria for HTET 2021


Level I Primary Teacher	10+2 Intermediate with 50% Marks and Passed / Appearing 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education / B.E.Ed OR Bachelor Degree in Any Stream and Passed / Appearing 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education / B.E.Ed.
Level II TGT Teacher Classes VI-VIII	Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with 50% Marks and 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Bachelor Degree with 50% Marks and B.Ed / Special B.Ed Degree OR 10+2 with 50% Marks and 4 Year BA B.Ed / B.Com B.Ed Degree.
Level III PGT Teachers	Master Degree in Concerned Subject with 50% Marks and B.Ed Degree.

HTET Exam Syllabus 2021

HTET syllabus for Level I

HTET syllabus for level I will of the prescribed syllabus for classes I-V, however, the difficulty levels may go up to secondary level.

HTET subjects	Topics
Child Development and Pedagogy	Educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years Understanding the characteristics and needs of diverse learners, Interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning
Languages (Hindi & English)	These sections will focus on the proficiency related to the medium of instruction.
Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and General Awareness	This section will focus on the elements of Mental and Reasoning Ability and General Knowledge regarding Haryana State.
Mathematics and Environmental Studies	Various concepts, problem-solving abilities and pedagogical understanding of the subjects Topics taught in class I-V by the Education Department, Govt. of Haryana

HTET Exam Pattern 2020

HTET exam will be held in November tentatively. The written test will be conducted for three different levels separately. Total marks time allotted for each level or paper is two and a half hours or 150 minutes. Find HTET exam pattern for all three levels below:

Note: in each paper or level, candidates from the unreserved category need to score a minimum of 90 out of 150 (60%). On the other hand, SC/ ST/ other reserved categories need to score 82 out of 150 (55%).

All qualified candidates will be given the HTET qualifying certificate with a validity of five years.
