How to Apply Punjab Wakf Board Vacancy 2019

| If you are interested and Eligible candidates for this job, you Should apply in prescribed application form along with requisite documents and DD send by speed post or in person to Education Development Officer, O/O Chief Executive Officer, Punjab Waqf Board, SCO 1962-63, Sector 22B, Chandigarh- 160022 on or before 30.09.2019. |
Selection Criteria :
All applications will be pre-screened for academic and other qualifications and initial qualifications for those who meet the required conditions will be prepared according to the following criteria.
- PGT: The percentage weightage of marks in PG, B.Ed and Experience will be 50 marks, 40 marks and 10 marks respectively. 2 marks of maximum 10 marks will be given for each year’s experience beyond the mandatory requirement.
- TGT: The percentage weight of marks in Bachelor’s degree, B.Ed and experience will be 50 marks, 40 marks and 10 marks respectively. 2 marks of maximum 10 marks will be given for each year’s experience beyond the mandatory requirement.
- Primary teacher and nursery teacher: Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and experience, weight for percentage in diploma / degree will be 50 marks, 40 marks and 10 marks respectively. 2 marks of maximum 10 marks will be given for each year’s experience beyond the mandatory requirement.
- Diniyat Teacher: The weight for percentage of marks in Hafiz, Alim, Fazil syllabus and experience will be 20 marks, 35 marks, 35 marks and 10 marks respectively (subject to 2 marks maximum 10 for each year).
- Clerk: The percentage of marks for 12th marks will be 50 percent, 40 marks for graduate degree and 10 marks for experience (2 marks for each year for a maximum of 10).
- Librarian: The weight for percentage of marks will be 50 marks for Bachelors, 40 marks for Library Science degree and 10 marks for experience (2 marks for each year subject to a maximum of 10).
- Lab Assistant and Computer Lab Assistant: The weight of percentage of marks will be 80 marks for Bachelors degree and 20 marks for experience (4 marks for each year for a maximum of 20 years).
- For teaching posts, higher candidates in order of merit in the preliminary merit list will be called for class performance cum interview based on the criteria of 4 candidates per post.
- The final merit will be calculated on the basis of marks obtained in the preliminary merit list and performance cum interview, with a weight of 70 and 30 marks respectively.
- A waiting list of candidates will also be prepared and will be valid for a period of 1 year.
For non-teaching positions, selection will be based on preliminary qualification and interview, with a weight of 70 and 30 marks respectively. However, the number of candidates called for interview will be in the ratio of 1: 5.
