1. Which Indian state / union territory has launched a scheme for distribution of fortified rice?
Answer: Chhattisgarh
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has recently launched a scheme for distribution of fortified rice through Public Distribution System (PDS). The scheme, which was launched on Statehood Day, aims to help reduce malnutrition and anemia. Fortified rice is a mixture of fortified rice kernel (FRK) rich in iron, vitamin B-12 and folic acid.

2. How much amount has been released as 2 installments to 16 states and 3 union territories for GST compensation?
Answer – 6000 crores
The central government is going to release a second installment of Rs 6,000 crore to 16 states and 3 union territories. According to a recent statement by the Finance Ministry, the total amount released to the states to meet the shortfall of compensation under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) under a special window is Rs 12,000 crore.

3. Which Indian company has been announced as the title sponsor of the Women’s T20 Challenge 2020?
Answer: Live
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has recently announced Jio as the title sponsor for the upcoming 2020 edition of the Women’s T20 Challenge. This partnership will also be supported by Reliance Foundation Education and Sports for All (RF ESA). This is the first time a sponsor has tied up with BCCI exclusively for women’s matches. The Women’s T20 Challenge will be held in Sharjah from 4-9 November.

4. Which Indian state has launched the first project for free internet for poor families and public offices?
Answer: Kerala
Kerala aims to provide free, high-speed Internet in state schools, public offices and poor homes by December this year. Kerala is the first state to undertake such a project. Kerala Fiber Optic Network Project or KFON has awarded the contract to a consortium led by Bharat Electronics Limited, a public sector company.

5. What is the target set by the Center for Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) for MSMEs?
Answer – 3 lakh crores
The Central Government has extended the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to 30 November. According to the Ministry of Finance, loans worth Rs 2.03 lakh crore have been sanctioned under ECLGS for more than 60 lakh borrowers. While the target was fixed at Rs 3 lakh crore. Out of this, Rs 1.48 lakh crore has been disbursed.

छत्तीसगढ़ के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने हाल ही में सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली (पीडीएस) के माध्यम से गढ़वाले चावल के वितरण की योजना शुरू की है। यह योजना, जो राज्य दिवस पर शुरू की गई थी, का उद्देश्य कुपोषण और एनीमिया को कम करने में मदद करना है। फोर्टिफाइड राइस फोर्टिफाइड राइस कर्नेल (FRK) से भरपूर आयरन, विटामिन बी -12 और फोलिक एसिड का मिश्रण है।
