AIIMS 2022 will be held in the fourth week of May 2022. AIIMS 2022 is operated by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. AIIMS is a national level entrance examination which is conducted every year.

The AIIMS exam will be done through NEET 2022. AIIMS 2022 is conducted for admission to MBBS courses. Admission will be granted in AIIMS institutions located in New Delhi, Guntur, Rishikesh, Bhopal, Nagpur, Raipur, Jodhpur and Bhubaneswar.

The AIIMS 2022 application form will be released through online mode. Candidates can see all the details of AIIMS 2022 application form in this section here.

• The AIIMS 2022 application form (original registration for MBBS (PAAR)) will be released in the last week of November 2020.
• The AIIMS 2022 Application Form (Basic Registration for MBBS (PAAR)) can be filled by the second week of January 2022.
• Candidates have to follow the steps like doing basic registration, generating code and making final registration, registration should be completed by the candidates.
• Students have to fill all the details in the application form asked by the authority, candidates have to fill their category at the time of registration.
• In the final registration, students have to fill the choice and select the city of examination.
• Students have to upload the scanned image of thumb impression, photo and signature while filling the application form.
• Students are required to take a printout of the application confirmation page for future reference.

How to apply for AIIMS MBBS 2022?

From this year, the institute has revised the entire registration process for the exam. It will be a two-stage process which will include the following -
Basic registration of AIIMS

• If AIIMS MBBS i.e. go to the official website of aiimsexams.org
• Click on ‘New Registration’ tab
• Enter all the original details in the given format.
• Upload photo and signature after scanning

At this stage, candidates are not required to pay for the examination.

AIIMS final registration

After the original registration is completed, a code of final registration for registration will be issued to the registrar. Use the same to login again and the form that has been issued will be issued approximately three months before the AIIMS MBBS exam with the prompt.

In this, the candidates have to fill the complete details of their personal, professional and educational background. Also, they have to withdraw the application fee according to their category.

• Pay your application fee in online mode or through bank challan
• Recheck the filled AIIMS application form and take several printouts for future use.

AIIMS MBBS 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates have to fulfill the AIIMS MBBS eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The following are the eligibility criteria:

• Age Criteria: The candidate should have attained or attained the age of 17 on 31 December of the year of admission.
• Candidates born on or after January 2, 2005 are not eligible to apply.
• Minimum Marks: The minimum aggregate aggregate of marks in the examination is 60% for General and OBC candidates, 50% for SC / ST candidates and 45% for PWDD candidates.
• Subject: Candidate should have English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination.

AIIMS MBBS Reservation Criteria 2022

Some percentage of seats in AIIMS are reserved for SC, ST, OBC and PWD candidates. The reservation policy is given below for six new AIIMS (Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, and Rishikesh) with intake of 100 and 50 students each at AIIMS Nagpur and Guntur:

• In AIIMS Delhi, there are 100 seats for Indian Nationals and 7 for Foreign Nationals
• If SC/ ST seats remain vacant, they shall be converted to general category seats.

AIIMS 2022 Exam Pattern

Those candidates who successfully register for AIIMS MBBS 2022 are issued their admit card in online mode. Enter your application number and password to access the document. This will inform the venue, time and change of examination.

Steps to download AIIMS MBBS Admit Card

• Visit the official website of aiimsexams.org
• Click on the link for ‘AIIMS MBBS Admit Card’
• Enter the application number and password in the login page.
• Make sure all the details are correct and then enter “Submit”
• Check the admit card and verify the details on it.
• Download or take two to three printouts of the AIIMS MBBS Admit Card for further procedures.

AIIMS MBBS Result 2022

AIIMS, New Delhi will release the results through online mode. The results will be declared in AIIMS MBBS 2022 as the marks and percentage obtained by the candidate. Enter your candidate ID and password to access AIIMS MBBS result. The institute will not personally intimate unsuccessful candidates about the result of the test. However, marks / percentage scores of an individual candidate are available on AIIMS website.

AIIMS MBBS Cutoff 2022

The cutoff score is the minimum mark that has to be secured by a candidate to get admission in AIIMS. As per AIIMS MBBS 2022 eligibility criteria,

• For general category candidates the cutoff will be 50% while for OBC candidates it will be 45%.
• The percentage of cut off will be determined on a percentage basis as the exam will be conducted in two shifts.
• The normalization process will be used to determine eligibility criteria.

AIIMS MBBS Selection Process 2022

Students scoring a minimum of 50% (45% for OBC and 40% for SC / ST) will be considered eligible. Requests for re-evaluation / re-investigation will not be entertained. Selected candidates should report to the concerned AIIMS to undergo a medical examination by a medical board of faculty members established by the respective institute.

Merit list will be prepared based on the result of competitive entrance examination. Intermediate merit of two or more candidates in the same category who score equal marks in the competitive entrance examination will be determined in order of preference as described below:

• Candidates scoring high marks in Biology in the entrance examination.
• Candidates scoring high marks in Chemistry in the entrance examination.
• Candidates scoring high marks in Physics in the entrance examination.
• Preference will be given to older candidates in age.

Note: Selected candidates will have to undergo a medical examination which will be instituted by the institute. If a candidate is found to be medically unfit, it will be rejected. In that case, the next candidate will be admitted in order of merit.

AIIMS 2022 Counseling

AIIMS 2022 counseling will be started after the results are declared. AIIMS 2022 counseling will also start after the merit list is released. AIIMS 2022 counseling will be conducted through online mode.

AIIMS 2022 counseling will begin in the first week of July 2022. Eligible candidates will be called for AIIMS 2022 counseling.
