Scheme course will have to appear for JEE Main. Papers –II and III. The examination will be conducted twice a year. The first session will be called as January 2022 session and the second session as April 2022 session. JEE Main 2022 will be operated through online mode (CBT). JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination) is a national level entrance examination which is conducted twice a year.

JEE Main 2022 is the country’s most popular entrance exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), formed by MHRD, Govt. India, under the Societies Act of India. Candidates will get admission in various professional colleges like IITs, NITs, CFTIs, and other state government and private colleges in the country. JEE Main qualified candidates will get admission in various professional courses of UG Engineering.

Instructions for filling Online Application Form of JEE Main Registration 2022:

Download Information Bulletin and Replica of Application Form. Read these carefully to ensure your eligibility.

Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:

  • Step-1: Apply for Online Registration using own Email Id and Mobile No.
  • Step-2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application Number.
  • Step-3: Upload scanned images of: (i) the recent photograph (file size 10Kb – 200Kb) should be either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background; (ii) candidate’s signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb); (iii) duly verified result awaited attestation form (file size: 50kb to 500kb), (iv) category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) (file size: 50kb to 300KB), (v) PwD certificate (file size: 50kb to 300kb) in jpg/jpeg format
  • Step-4: Pay fee using SBI/Canara Bank/HDFC Bank/ICICI Bank/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card / Net Banking/UPI and keep proof of fee paid.

JEE Main 2022 Application Form

    • JEE Main 2022 application form will be available only through online mode.
    • Candidates will be able to fill the JEE Main 2022 application form for the January 2022 session from the first week of November / December 2020.
    • Candidates will be able to register themselves from the official portal of JEE Main.
    • Registration for the April 2022 session will begin from the first week of February 2022.
    • Candidates will be able to register themselves for the January 2022 session by the second week of October 2020.
    • Students have to provide the correct mobile number and email address while filling the application form on the website.
    • All details about JEE Main 2022 application form and exam details will be sent to the candidate’s email address and mobile number.
    • Students are requested not to submit more than one application. Many applications submitted by the candidates will be rejected by the NTA.
    • The JEE Main 2022 application form will include a process like registration of the candidate, fill the JEE Main 2022 application form, upload the images, pay the JEE Main 2022 application form fee, submit and take a print out of the confirmation page JEE Main 2022 application form .
    • After submission of JEE Main 2022 application form, candidates will get confirmation of email / SMS from the right of registered email and mobile number.
    • Students are requested to take several printouts of the JEE Main 2022 Application Form Confirmation page and pay the fee for future reference.

JEE Main Application fee:

Here in this section, students will get all the details of the application fee. The application fee varies for different courses which also depends on the category.

  •       The application fee should be paid through online mode. No offline method for paying the fee is currently available for JEE Main.
  •       Students can pay the application fee through Net Banking / UPI / Credit Card / Debit Card or PAYTM.

JEE Main 2022 Application Correction

The JEE Main 2022 reform will be launched from the 3rd week of September 2020. JEE Main 2022 Correction facility will be available for the candidates after the application process. Students will be able to upload the uploaded images in wrong / wrong format or wrong image while filling the application form.

For the April session, the JEE Main 2022 correction for the image will be launched from the first week of February 2022. Candidates will be able to improve in various fields besides image correction. Candidates will get only one chance for correction of images and other details.

Students are required to pay fees for application improvement facility. Improvements in details will be introduced from the third week of October 2020 (January session) and from March 2022 (April session).

JEE Main 2022 Eligibility Criteria

JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria is available for students. Students are requested to check the JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria before implementing JEE Main 2022. This is the complete JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria for all students and for all courses.

General Eligibility:

Nationality Indian as well as International candidates can apply for the Entrance Test.
Age Criteria There is no age limit to apply for the JEE MAIN 2022.
Attempt Limit There is no attempt limit for the JEE Main.
International Applicants Foreign National required to obtain the Necessary Percentage/ Marks from the Board recognized from the AIU to be eligible for the JEE MAIN  2022.
Upper Age Limit There is no Upper Age Limit

Qualification

Here we are mentioning the details of the Qualification, which must be needed for the JEE Main 2022.

  • Qualifying Exam: The Candidate must have passed 12th Standard (HSC) from any recognized Board or its equivalent in 2019 or 2020.
  • Appearing Candidates: The candidates who are in their qualifying examination (12th in 2022) are also eligible for the JEE MAIN 2022.
  • Not Eligible: Candidates who passed the 12th in 2018 or before and those appearing in the JEE Main 2022 exam or later will be not eligible for the JEE Main 2022.

Qualifying Subjects:

  • For B.E and B. Tech: The candidate must have passed 12th standard with the minimum Five subjects such as – Physics, Mathematics, as the mandatory subjects along with Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or any other technical vocational as optional subjects.
  • For B.Arch.: A student must have passed the 12th class with Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
  • For B.Plan: The candidate must have passed the 12th standard with mathematics as the compulsory subject.
  • Diploma: Candidates holding the diploma degree are also eligible. Those candidates are only eligible for the IITs.

Eligibility for Participating Institutions (NITs, CFTIs, IITs, SFTI’s & others):

Those candidates who wish to take admission into the premier institutions of the country through the CSAB. All India Rank will be considered for admission through the CSAB.

Candidates have to secure 75% Marks (General) and 65% Marks (SC/ST) or come under the top 20 Percentile of the 12th Level.

Candidates who wish to take admission into the B.Arch in NIT’s, IIT’s, CFTI’s & other institutions must have 50% Marks in the qualifying examination (12th Standard).

State of Eligibility:

  • Candidates have to fill the state code of Eligibility at the time of the registration Process/ Filling the application form. The candidates have to choose the state code of eligibility from where they have qualified for the 12th Standard exam.
  • The state code of Eligibility will not vary from the residence or nativity of the candidates.
  • For the Indian National candidates who have passed the 12th Standard from Aboard, the state elections will be dependent on the permanent address mentioned on the passport.

  • Mode of Examination: The exam will be conducted through online mode (CBT). The JEE Main Paper II (B.Arch) for the drawing test, It will be conducted through the Pen and Paper Mode.
  • Papers: The JEE Main papers are divided into 3 sections. For B.E/ B.Tech course, JEE Main Paper – I will be conducted. While for B.Arch & B. Plan admission, JEE Main Paper – 2 and JEE Main Paper – 3 will be held.
  • Language Medium: There will be Hindi and the English language available for the candidates to write the exam paper. The candidates who are appearing for the paper in the exam center of the Gujarat, Daman & Diu, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli exam will get Hindi/ English and Gujarati Language for the paper.
  • Question Types: The Question will be asked in the Objective Type. Numerical Value questions will also be asked in JEE Main 2022 as per the new exam pattern. The JEE Main Paper 2 will be subjective for the Drawing Test.
  • Number Questions: The JEE Main Paper 1 (B.E / B.Tech. ) will contain a total of 75 Questions. Paper 2 (B. Arch) will contain 77 Questions. The JEE Main Paper 3 (B. Plan) will contain 100 Questions.
  • Total Marks: The JEE Main Paper 1 (B.E/ B.Tech) will contain a total of 300 Marks. JEE Main Paper 2 and Paper 3 for (B.Arch and B.Plan) will be of a total of 400 Marks.
  • Marking Scheme: The correct answer will get +4 Marks.
  • Negative Marking: -1 Will be deducted for each wrong answer.

JEE Main 2022 Syllabus

Students must check the JEE Main 2022 Syllabus on the official website. The candidates must be aware of the latest JEE Main 2022 Syllabus. The JEE Main 2022 Syllabus will be from the 11th and 12th class of the CBSE Pattern. The question will be asked from the 11th and 12TH Level of the CBSE.

  • JEE Main Paper 1 (B.Tech/ B.E) will have questions from the subjects PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).

JEE Mains Paper II & III (B.Arch/ B.Plan) Syllabus:

Part I: Awareness of persons, places, Buildings, Materials, Visualizing three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawings, Visualizing, Analytical Reasoning Mental Ability (Visual, Numerical, and Verbal), etc.

JEE Main 2022 Admit Card

JEE Main 2022 admit card will be available for the candidates through online mode. Candidates will be able to download the admit card of JEE Main 2022 from the official website. The JEE Main 2022 Admit Card will be available for the candidates in the first week of December 2020. Candidates will get the JEE Main 2022 Admit Card details about the notification in the registered email id and mobile number. Students will be able to download the JEE Main 2022 Admit Card by entering their login details on the official web portal.

Candidates will not get any slot booking for exam timing, exam center, date, and shift booking. The allocation will be done randomly by NTA through their process. All information about the exam will be available on the official web portal while downloading the JEE Main 2022 Admit Card. Details will also be mentioned on the JEE Main 2022 Admit Card.

The April 2022 session will be available for JEE Main 2022 Admit Card candidates to download from the third week of March 2022. April Session JEE Main 2022 Admit Card will be available from candidates through online mode only. Candidates can get it on the website suggested by NTA. All the required details will be mentioned on the JEE Main 2022 Admit Card. JEE Main 2022 answer key

Answer key of JEE Main 2022 will be issued separately for each session. The JEE Main 2022 answer key will be released in the format (provisional and final). NTA will release provisional JEE Main 2022 answer key after the first JEE MAIN 2022 entrance exam. Candidates will be able to check the JEE Main 2022 Answer Key on the official website.

Answer key of JEE Main 2022 will be available for the candidates through online mode. Candidates will be able to download the JEE Main 2022 Answer Key in PDF format. Candidates can download the JEE Main 2022 Answer Key by entering their login credentials. NTA will release provisional JEE Main 2022 answer key in the third week of March 2022.

After the provisional JEE Main 2022 answer key is released, in case of error in the answer key, candidates can challenge on the JEE Main 2022 Answer Key. Candidates need to pay the fee to challenge the JEE Main 2022 Answer Key along with proof / proof to show their answer correctly.

Once the challenge / objection is accepted by the authority, the NTA will issue the final JEE Main 2022 answer key, which will be released later. JEE Main 2022 Answer Key will help the candidates to guess the marks they secure in the entrance examination.

JEE Main 2022 result

The result announcement will be available on the official website. JEE Main 2022 result will be announced through online mode. Candidates will be able to check the JEE Main 2022 result in the last week of January 2022 for the January session. Candidates will have to enter their application number and date of birth to download the JEE Main 2022 result.

The JEE Main 2022 result will be released in the last week of April session 2022. The scorecard will be calculated according to the raw marks secured by the students in the JEE Main Entrance Examination.

JEE Main 2022 score card

JEE Main 2022 scorecard will be released through online mode. After the declaration of JEE Main 2022 result, JEE Main 2022 scorecard will be available for the candidates. Candidates can check the JEE Main 2022 scorecard from the official website.

To download the JEE Main 2022 scorecard on the official web portal, candidates have to enter their login details. The JEE Main 2022 scorecard will show the student’s performance in the entrance exam.

The JEE Main 2022 scorecard will include the required details of the students, such as candidate’s name, parent’s name, roll number, state code of eligibility, marks obtained, all India rank, category wise rank, merit status, etc. No offline mode. The JEE Main 2022 scorecard is available to receive. Only it can be downloaded from the official website.

JEE Mains 2022 rank list

NTA will release JEE Mains 2022 rank list through online mode. The list of JEE Main 2022 rank will be released after the declaration of JEE Main 2022 result. The rank list can be obtained from the official web portal.
The JEE Mains 2022 rank list will include the student’s all India rank and category rank. The JEE Mains 2022 rank list will have the allotted rank of the student based on the marks obtained by him in the JEE Main 2022 Entrance Examination.

Different rank lists will be prepared by the states for getting admission in various state universities.

FAQs related to JEE Main 2022

When will JEE Men’s 2022 be held?

A. The NTA has not yet issued any official notification on JEE Main 2022. However, it is expected that the exam will be held in the last week of February.

Will JEE Main 2022 be canceled?

A. The National Testing Agency will organize JEE Main 2022 for both January and April sessions. The official notification is yet to be issued by the authority.
