Explain that the Lateral Entry Test will be conducted on 13 February 2021 for the admission of students in the ninth grade in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas. The last date for submission of applications in JNV is 15 November 2020.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Number

At present, there are 646 functional Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in 28 states and 07 union territories. In order to make better use of the basic facilities and facilities available in these schools, it has been decided by the committee to fill the vacant seats in IX class through the All India Level Selection Examination. District-wise vacant seats in the school are notified separately in local newspapers.

Eligibility condition of Navodaya Vidyalaya 9th standard (Essential qualification for 9th class of Navodaya Vidyalaya)

1. Only those candidates who are studying Class VIII during academic session 2021 in one of the 22 government. The recognized schools in the district where Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought are eligible.

2. The candidate appearing for the entrance examination should have passed / passed Class VIII in the academic session 2020. Recognized school in the district where it wants to take admission.

3. The candidate seeking admission must be born between 01.05.2005 and 30.04.2009 (both days inclusive). This applies to all categories of candidates, including those belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

1. केवल वे उम्मीदवार जो सरकार / सरकार के शैक्षणिक सत्र 2021-22 के दौरान आठवीं कक्षा का अध्ययन कर रहे हैं। जिले में मान्यता प्राप्त स्कूल जहां जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय कार्यरत है और जहां प्रवेश की मांग की जाती है, वे पात्र हैं।
2. प्रवेश परीक्षा के लिए उपस्थित होने वाले उम्मीदवार को शैक्षणिक सत्र 2020 में कक्षा आठवीं उत्तीर्ण / उत्तीर्ण होना चाहिए। जिले में मान्यता प्राप्त स्कूल जहां वह प्रवेश लेना चाहता है।
3. प्रवेश पाने वाले उम्मीदवार का जन्म 01.05.2005 और 30.04.2009 (दोनों दिन सम्मिलित) के बीच होना चाहिए। यह सभी श्रेणियों के उम्मीदवारों पर लागू होता है, जिनमें अनुसूचित जाति और अनुसूचित जनजाति शामिल हैं।

Procedure to Apply For Navodaya Vidyalaya 9th Class

Online applications may be submitted from 13.09.2021 (00:00 Hrs.). The candidate may refer to NVS Hqrs. Website www.nvshq.org or website of JNVs. The last date to apply for the Class-IX Lateral Entry test is 31.10.2021.

The selection test for admission to class IX will be held on 09/04/2022 at another center allotted by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya / NVS in the respective district.
