- GATE 2022 application form can be filled only through online mode. There is no option to fill the GATE 2022 application form through any offline mode.
- The GATE 2022 application form can be filled through GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System).
- The GATE 2022 online registration form has been started from 11 September 2022.
- Candidates are requested to upload all the documents like photo, degree certificate, college name and signature in the prescribed format.
- The application form of GATE 2022 can be filled by 8 October 2022.
- The documents to be uploaded are signature / photo / qualification certificate examination / caste certificate / category certificate (SC / ST / OBC) / or dyslexia certificate, as applicable, should be uploaded in the prescribed format.
- Candidates can appear for only one paper.
- Candidates are not required to send any hard copy of GATE 2022 application form.

GATE 2022 Application Form Correction
When candidates start filling the GATE 2022 application form, chances are they may have filled it incorrectly. To correct the GATE 2022 application form, the GATE Conducting Authority gives all candidates a chance to correct the GATE 2022 application form.
Candidates are requested to fill the GATE 2022 application form correctly, and if they have mistakenly filled any incorrect information, they are allowed to correct the GATE 2022 application form.
GATE 2022 application form correction will be applicable to all candidates through online mode only. All the candidates have to correct their GATE 2022 application form within the stipulated time. The GATE 2022 application form correction facility will be provided only in certain filed cases.
GATE 2022 application reform will be a star from the 3rd week of November 2022. If the candidates failed to apply for the GATE 2022 application form correction, then their application can be rejected by the GATE authority. No communication with the GATE 2022 authority will be allowed.

GATE 2022 Admit Card
The GATE 2022 Admit Card will be available for download from 8 January 2022. The GATE 2022 Admit Card will be available for downloading to candidates through online mode only. All the candidates will be able to get their GATE 2022 Admit Card from the official website of GOAPS. Students will not get GATE 2022 Admit Card through the post office or no hard copy of GATE 2022 Admit Card will be given to the candidates.
Candidates are requested to come to GATE examination center before one hour to avoid congestion. Students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without the admit card of GATE 2022. Candidates will not be able to change the name of the center after the GATE 2022 admit card is issued and the correction period ends.
The candidates have to come to the examination hall with the admit card of GATE 2022 otherwise they will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall. Candidates will also have to bring the government ID proof along with the GATE 2022 Admit Card for verification process by the authority.
GATE 2022 Answer Key
Candidates will get GATE 2022 Answer Key only through online mode. Candidates who have successfully given the GATE 2022 entrance exam on the exam dates will be able to check only the GATE 2022 answer key. Those candidates who want to check the answer key for GATE 2022, will have to enter their user ID and password, which they created at the time of filling the GATE 2022 application form.
Students will get their GATE 2022 Answer Key in the last week of February 2022. The response sheet of the candidates will be available on the official website of GOAPS. The GATE 2022 Answer Key for various papers will be displayed on the official website. If there are any questions, candidates can fill the application after paying the fee. After the evaluation of the exam paper is finalized, the candidates will check their scorecard after its release.
GATE 2022 result
The results of GATE 2022 will be available to the candidates through online mode only. The GATE 2022 result will be released on 22 March 2022. The GATE 2022 result will be available on the official GATE 2022 website.
Candidates can check their GATE 2022 result by entering their admission credentials. The official website will show the eligibility status of the student after entering their login credentials. Candidates are advised to take a print out of the GATE 2022 result and continue it till the admission process is complete.
Score card for GATE 2022
The score card of GATE 2022 will be available to students through online mode. The GATE 2022 score card will be available for the candidates from the third week of March 2022 to the last week of May 2022.
The GATE 2022 score card will display the relative performance of the student in the particular subject he or she chose while filling the application form. The 2022 score card will be valid for 3 years from the date of announcement of GATE 2022 score card.
The score card of GATE 2022 will be available along with the candidate’s name and candidate’s photograph and a student will have to submit at the time of admission to the institute. Candidates who have qualified the GATE 2022 entry and want a soft copy of the GATE 2022 score card will have to pay an official fee of Rs 500 to receive it after the last week of May 2022.

You should be able to score at least 80 marks from them and usually 60+ is enough for a good rank (if the exam is easy it can go up to 70+ in 2011). What is a good rank in GATE?
For admission to the top IITs, the student must obtain a GATE rank below 200. However, students with rank in the range of 600-800 can also take admission in IIT and IIIT. For admission to leading NITs, students should obtain GATE rank in the 350–800 range.

On the basis of the highest marks obtained in the examination, in various streams, a merit score is determined. Having a valid GATE score means that you must have at least one score equal to the one receiving the score.
Can I get a job through the gate?
The recruitment process for PSU is a valid GATE score for the current year and then a round of group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI). The weightage given to the GATE score is between 75 percent and 85 percent. The various PSUs recruited through GATE include PGCIL, NTPC, NHPC, IOCL, BHEL, etc.
